Techdirt's website redesign was undertaken as the blog's editors expanded its scope to include new expert- and community-generated products and services, such as on-demand virtual focus groups and corporate intelligence gathering. The new site is designed to educate corporate readers of these additional offerings — without overly distracting from the blog's content or alienating its 850,000 subscribers.
Additional deliverables include design of Techdirt's logo, identity collateral, and a formative library of topic icons used to classify blog posts. Coding and implementation of the site design was conducted by Techdirt.
